Short Update

Seems as if I'm the only one here again (two posts in a row yeah what about that)! Anie, Kaka - where are youuu?

Well I went to the movies today and saw Tron Legacy which I thought it was pretty cool. Too bad the dad had to ... *spoiler* HAHAHA, nah won't say it lol.

Anyways, seems like maple fever has hit the Zero Degree household. We've been constantly on it for the past week. Guess who went up from level 63 to 67 in two days. Me. GSPQ is the best! Woo.

34 more days...

First of all, 34 more days until what exactly?

DUM DUM DUM: Bau take over Asia!

Haha, sorry for the over dramaticalness but it's rather exciting for me who's never been farther than Melbourne from Australia (yes I know Melb is IN Australia - get my point haha). So my first stop is going to be in Malaysia for 1 pathetic day and then off to Cambodia I go. I possibly will head into Bangkok a bit too if I'm lucky, but apart from that I'll be hovering around the Thai/Cambo border anyways. Anyways, if I do make it there I wonder how the locals are going to fair with my apparently "ozziefied" accented thai - LOL, thanks for that comment you know who you are. Haha. All in all, Cambo about 20 something days and then off to Malayland I go.

Wait, Malaysia!? -- Did somebody mention FOOD xD? Well, and meeting the peeps of course ;)

how much I love my gong2

2010; it's not the best year for the Chia family...kinda started it off with my grandma having breast cancer. At first we got this false alarm of her being in the 4th stage and all. Damn, me being at Melacca during such critical times...it was, to a certain extend affecting my concentration in uni during that sem. I tried to act tough and all but once I came back during the weekend to visit her, you know...looking at someone you call as your fam going into the operation theatre (however, SAFE the operation is, as proclaimed by the doctor) you would feel so freakin sad. Especially when they were pushing her away from us, and my grandpa was like crying saying 'my wife...' and those things. It's saddening.

It's ironic how my grandma's incident was the 'opening act' for 2010 and just recently, my grandpa's head been swelling extremely bad and he had difficulty in breathing. Ya noe, when you read in news or w.e and they say the head swells up and all - your imagination could only go THAT far. But when you see the real thing, that's when reality smacks you in the face. Even a pure fat person head doesn't get THAT big, if you get what I mean.

I think it's already obvious - he had lung cancer.

I really2 got this bond with my grandpa or as I always call him, gong-gong. He'll always be the one helping me  to finish up my kindergarten homework cos, since then - I've already developed this lazy ass attitude lol. He'll be the one picking me up (I was 2 or 3 then and trust me, I'm very light hehehe) sitting in front at his old motorcycle, he'll take me for roti canai....good ol memories. I thank god that he stopped smoking even before I was 5 or so. Was very proud of my gong2, at his age (around 70+) he don't need any walking stick, or w.e...healthy, could do chores and stuff.

I guess the cancer stick is true after all...that swelling that happened this 2 months seem to be fatal. He's been in and out of the hospital for god knows how many times. All those procedures with the tube through his nose and all is torturing him.

I thought I was ok, but nah...when I saw him today...he was at the emergency room. trying so hard to breathe. Daym, I just cried like a lil whiny baby.

'Gong, you must pull through it ok?' He turned and looked at me, nodding.

I tried to not cry, so many ppl there....take it in...breathe. Then I remembered him telling me (long2 time ago) that he hope he could live long enough to see me graduate; his first grandchild. And that made me cry again. Before leaving him cos it was late already, I did the cheese-est thing in the world and said,

'Gong, you can't go yet. You have to live for 2 more years...i'm graduating in 2 more years...ok?'

...and that just made me realize how much I love my gong-gong.

Whyyy?!!?!?!

lols, over dramatic much? But yes, why am I the only one updating here =[ *looking at the left sidebar* Isn't this suppose to be a 3ppl-in-1 blog? I mean it doesn't seem that way, all I see is AN AN AN's update. Plus, I've so much to talk about yet I don't real have the time to do so. Sigh, not sleeping much *as in 2 hours the most* assignments...exams. They're such murderers =.='' Honestly, I slept around 8pm yesterday and woke up at 4am lmao. Talk about a pighead like me.

Back to the topic, my two other lazy ass co-author of this blogs are on HOLIDAY. Yeap, you heard me - HOLIDAY. Yet they're too 'busy' to update. Seriously, no comment. Tired, sleepy, backache, period pain and have to master the art of readings nina's massive load of emails. Sigh, why must the good die young?! Ok, maybe I'm not dead yet -- but I'm almost reaching that state.

Help.

a short trip to the zoo :)

The title says it all...but yeh, since this week is the last week my lil sis's gonna be staying with me so I decided to take her to the Zoo Melaka. Note to all: we're animal lovers lmao...so I think even if we're 80+ we'll still love visiting the zoo. To be honest, even a visit to a pet shop freaking hyped us a lot...so y'all imagine the rest ahaha =P

Oh btw, its a shocker how cheap the entrance fee were ya noe o.O Like its just RM7.00 for each of us, and mind you...it's under the 'adult' category too. But yea, not that I'm whining or whatever, but maybe the fees should be a lil more so that they can take care of the animals better? =| Just a suggestion, maybe RM10/RM15 would be acceptable to me. Seriously, some of them animals just don't seem to be healthy/full. Some are even boney =[ I've been lucky enough to travel overseas and trust me, the animals in their zoo are supah well fed lol

Enough said on that, we didn't take pic much since we don't really see the point of standing next to a cage, putting on the :) face and say PEACE lol. Too much of a hassle, yeah...we're THAT lazy lol. BUT, fret not...I did a lil photography. I'm not gonna brag since I ain't no pro-photographer but yeh, enjoy!

we were greeted with these beautiful yet annoying parrots lmao
there's actually a goat or something of its type behind mr. rhino lol
the ponies were cute, reminded me of those days when i played 'my little pony' game =P

It was so much fun tho tiring walking for almost 2 hours (we refused to take the bus, nak ber-exercise sambil enjoy la...kononnya..la) After that, had lunch at Sushi King...and watched a stupidest movie called SKYLINE. It was supposed to be an awesome alien-action-pack movie but in reality? LAME! We only enjoyed the last 5mins of the movie...seriously.

'Don't look up' MY ASS =.='' DON'T WATCH THIS MOVIE would be better! Such a waste of 20bucks..

Pssssttttt....no, seriously.

So, as all MMU peeps know...recently, there's been some pretty interesting booth under PS (is it...Plaza Siswi or Siswa? lol...no idea, who cares...I call it the awesomenest-cheap-food-court-kenyang-giler-gossip-area-wif-my-annoying-loving-friends. LMAO!

So anyway, there was 3 booths in total I think o.O One was the 'mari adik, beli celcom broadband...manyak murah la...' While the 2nd one was on cute2 DIY stuff which yours truly bought one as well ;) (shall keep y'all posted on that one later) DUM DUM DUM....the 3rd one was selling tarantula and snakesssSssssSsssssss. Talking bout tarantula, stupid Yana saw it yesterday and she was like 'Auwwwww...so cute' ...I know, like so 0_0 right??

Aite, back to the topic lol...so after class today I took adik to sushi king again since im loving the salmon promotion thingy (seriously ppl, go try it out...awesomeness xD) SO, told adik about the snakes and she pestered me....*10 mins later* we're in. She was playing with the semi-huge snake...an albino one and everyone was giving those swirly =S face (including mua) After much consideration and sweet-talking dad, we were given the green light to buy one.

It's a STRIPED CALIFORNIA KING SNAKE...adik named it, Gaara.

If you're wondering wth Gaara's doing...well, the students who were selling em said they eat PINKIES or w.e it is called. So I'm like...o-okayyyy pinky. Get us some...call me dumb (which you might alrdy have lol) but yea, then came 2 lil mice (they're still babies but like rared for that purpose =[ ) The guy fed him one pinky and everyone was at awe...me? still =S.

Buhbye for today lol.

Late night studying and Happy birthday Anie!

All this studying is driving me insane especially with questions relating to thermochemistry at 2am in the morning - please someone kill me. Dum dum dum. And this is only the beginning. But regardless, you know the saying there's always light at the end of the tunnel, well my tunnel is months and months of freedom LMAO. Can't wait especially since I'll be overseas for half of those times, yay me.

Anywho, guess it's always not too late to wish Anie a happy birthday here as well - happy 20th Anie! Don't wanna get to mushy here so I'll leave it as that =P hehe, here's a monkichi for you since I can't give you anything else. You can't complain tho since I've given you the BZIE (Beats) already!

P/S: sorry for the major short update, I better get back to studying. *Sigh*
